There is y there are
¿Qué diferencia hay entre there is y there are? En este caso depende de si le sigue un nombre singular o plural, usamos ‘there is’ con nombres en singular y ‘there are’ con nombres en plural. La gran mayoría de los nativos usan la versión singular ‘there is’ incluso con nombres en plural, aunque esto no es correcto y solo podríoa usarse en el habla informal.
Además, procura usar las dos formas correctamente para nombres singulares y plurales. Es más, utilizamos ‘there is’ y ‘there are’ para decir que alguien o algo existe o está en un lugar. Se usa antes del sujeto o como sujeto preparatorio.
