Whose: indica posesión

What: se utiliza para pedir información general

Which: se utiliza para especificar

• Which pencil would you prefer, the black or the white one?
• Which country is the largest in the world?
• Which type of personality do you have?
• I like towns which are small and cosy.
• Jane wants to find a job which she would like.

Where: se utiliza para indicar dirección

• Where does Jacob live?
• Where is Thomas? I haven’t seen him all day.
• Where does jean live?
• I have no idea where we’re going.
• He doesn’t care where it is.

Why: busca la razón o explicación

• Why is the sky blue?
• Why is there something rather than nothing?
• Why is Samuel arriving late today?

How: interroga sobre cómo se realiza algo
